Invoyes is built to be private by default. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data. It is a summary of our practices, not legal advice.

Your invoice data stays in your browser

When you use the invoice generator, the details you enter (your business, your client, line items, and so on) are saved locally in your browser's storage on your own device. We do not store them on our servers, and they are not tied to any account.

Downloading a PDF

To generate your PDF, your invoice content is sent to our server, rendered into a document, and returned to you. It is processed for that request only and is not retained afterward.

Sharing a hosted invoice

If you choose to share an invoice via a hosted link, the invoice you share is stored so it can be viewed at that link, and we may send the email address you provide a notification when your client opens it. This only happens when you explicitly use the share feature.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics to understand which pages are useful. It does not use tracking cookies and does not build advertising profiles. We measure aggregate usage (such as page views and which features are used), not individuals.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, we don't require an account to use the generator, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.
